Drawing on a storied heritage of invention, BHGE harnesses the passion and experience of its people to enhance productivity across the oil and gas value chain.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> 1812566<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function:<\/strong> Services<br \/>\n<strong>Business Segment:<\/strong> Baker Hughes GE Oilfield Services<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baker Hughes, a GE Company as a new opportunity for Project Manager to join our team to look after projects across Sub Sahara Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Cost estimates, probabilistic cost risk assessment, and contingency plans to create a project budget and cash flow estimate.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize Cost Risk Analysis at appropriate intervals in overall project plan.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget and expenditure reports.<\/li>\n<li>Use forecasting of cost for time and materials to influence project decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Develop budgeting, cost monitoring and reporting plans.<\/li>\n<li>Create risk management plans and perform qualitative risk analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the risk register and risk mitigation strategies for all project risks.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with resource managers to acquire resource allocation and staffing requirements for all projects.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently meet stakeholder expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a formal communications plan and identify ways communications were successful.<\/li>\n<li>Use team building activities, general management skills, reward and recognition systems, collocation, and training for the development of project team.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with 3rd party vendors and internal service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Primarily focused on new business start-up projects within SSA.<\/li>\n<li>Project lead single and multiple Product Line start-ups in countries for OFS<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate OFS projects with any BHGE country strategies<\/li>\n<li>Apply WBS methodologies to define the components of the project scope to be managed.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and, where applicable, eliminate scope creep.<\/li>\n<li>Identify the key project drivers (cost, performance, schedule constraints).<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should have the capability to effectively plan a project\u2019s schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Use activity definitions, sequencing, duration estimation and milestones to create a project schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Control and monitor project schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to analyze financial information.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in project management (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP); New Product Development Professional (NPDP); Agile Scrum Master) preferred but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working within a Program Management Office preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred knowledge and experience of the technical area being managed and an awareness of the business issues.<\/li>\n<li>Global experience in managing projects preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent and 12+ years of work experience (including time working in project environment, with at least 5 years of experience of managing projects).<\/li>\n<li>The ability to manage complex projects and programs.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working across multiple product lines.<\/li>\n<li>Able to travel extensively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for technical and organizational management and financial aspects of the activities.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the work of project managers and their project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.<\/li>\n<li>Individual must have strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and organizational skills and the ability to influence others.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes requirements with the project sponsor\/customer or senior colleagues, designs the implementation proposal, and evaluates the feasibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/66109\/Project-Manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baker Hughes, a GE company (NYSE:BHGE) is the world\u2019s first and only fullstream provider of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions.
