Consequently, we design and fit out commercial spaces (Offices, Retail and Hotels) for major international clients (e.g. Uber, L\u2019Oreal, Total, Mitsubishi, Sheraton etc.) across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project &amp; Construction Lead<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos, NG<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-Time<br \/>\n<strong> Reporting to:<\/strong> Country Manager in Nigeria and the Africa Projects Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Description\/Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nPre \u2013 project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design reviews &amp; modifications<\/li>\n<li>Project costing<\/li>\n<li>Create, manage and update Country Price Database &amp; Country Vendor Database<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Lead Generation<\/li>\n<li>Attend Sales meetings as &amp; when needed &amp; bring Technical angle<\/li>\n<li>Attend Ops (and \/ or Country) daily huddles<\/li>\n<li>Site survey (when design team not available \/ not in country)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compliance (Internal &amp; External):\n<ul>\n<li>Approvals &amp; Permits<\/li>\n<li>Insurances<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Safety<\/li>\n<li>Environmental<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Account Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Draft &amp; Update Project Delivery Plan (Template)<\/li>\n<li>Attend, Lead, Minute &amp; Report Site Meetings (Internal &amp; External)<\/li>\n<li>Draft Client Weekly Progress Reports (Template)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Time Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Draft Initial PoW<\/li>\n<li>Manage process of Extension of Time (EoT)<\/li>\n<li>Draft \/ Manage Revised \/ Updated PoW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Cost &amp; Contract Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Client:\n<ul>\n<li>Draft &amp; report preliminary &amp; detailed costing<\/li>\n<li>Draft &amp; Manage Project CF<\/li>\n<li>Manage VO process<\/li>\n<li>Draft &amp; Manage Project budget<\/li>\n<li>Draft &amp; Manage AFP &amp; Invoice process<\/li>\n<li>Draft &amp; Manage Contract process<\/li>\n<li>Manage Projects Accounts process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Vendors:\n<ul>\n<li>Manage vendors tender process &amp; recommend vendors<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor appointment process<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor contract process<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor payment process (POs, AFPs etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Construction Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Daily Site Visit<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the construction site is compliant with Company rules and local regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the progress on site<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality of the construction<\/li>\n<li>Ensure what is been built is what has been designed, specified &amp; costed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Quality Management:\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Quality Standards (Template) &amp; Inspections (Checklist)<\/li>\n<li>Manage Non-Conformity process<\/li>\n<li>Manage Snagging process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Post project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Defects Liability Period<\/li>\n<li>Manage Reference Letter<\/li>\n<li>Draft &amp; Implementation \u2013 Project Post Mortems &amp; Lessons learned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to multi task and work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Great time management skills<\/li>\n<li>\u201cCan go\u201d attitude \/ \u201cgo getter\u201d mindset<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc or M.Sc in Project Management\/ Construction Management \/ Quantity Surveying from a leading reputable university.<\/li>\n<li>Min 3 years\u2019 experience in a leading QS \/ Design &amp; Build \/ Project Management firm dealing with international clients.<\/li>\n<li>Bold<\/li>\n<li>Agile<\/li>\n<li>Passionate<\/li>\n<li>Strong international exposure<\/li>\n<li>Positive Team spirit and great team player<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven, pro-active, autonomous and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Detailed oriented &amp;
