We work alongside our partners tackling the most pressing technical, operational and regulatory challenges so the marine and offshore industries can operate safely, securely and responsibly.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Marine Surveyor<br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDescription<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are recruiting for a Marine Surveyor to be based in our Port Harcourt, Nigeria office. The role will be based on local contractual terms &amp; conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Port Harcourt supports Ships &amp; Operations \u2013 surveying and marine\/offshore. Whilst being supervised vy a Senior Surveyor, your duties will include:\n<ul>\n<li>Visiting vessels, marine structures &amp; manufacturers for routine survey activities<\/li>\n<li>Preparing technically accurate survey reports<\/li>\n<li>Alongside the Senior Surveyor, working with clients to identify and resolve problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant qualifications from a suitable marine or nautical institution and relevant seagoing experience as a certified ship officer; and<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the English language commensurate with their future work.<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree or recognized equivalent in appropriate technical discipline is preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years experience in an Engineering or Survey capacity within the marine industry.\u00a0 Appropriate certification and\/or licenses in area of specialization as may be required or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/abseagle.taleo.net\/careersection\/ex\/jobdetail.ftl?job=57641&amp;source=hnj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ABS has been at the forefront of marine and offshore energy innovation.
