AVA has three major arms which have been streamlined to meet our customer\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Java Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking for an experienced Java Developer to work with one or more of our engineering teams<\/li>\n<li>This is an opportunity to become a part of a highly motivated and skilled team, which works on the cutting edge of technology and invents the future of payment solutions.<\/li>\n<li>As a Java Developer you will work in a flexible team where you will be involved in Development and all aspects of configuration and to some aspect deployment of the Product that we delivers, the Product evolves quickly therefore you should be capable to process and sync with the changes quickly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\/Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in Java\/J2EE in LINUX\/ MAC OS Environments.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of SQL queries optimization and indexes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in some administrative\/scripting languages (Perl, bash shell) will be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of J Unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in web technologies preferably Ajax.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in SOAP\/XML.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with distributed teams.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Maven, Bamboo, Stash (GIT).<\/li>\n<li>Java Certification.<\/li>\n<li>Agile development experience preferably Scrum.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of leading teams is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-driven and ability to make progress with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Able to deal with the problem single handedly.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very attractive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their tailored CV\u2019s to: <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@alfred-victoria.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@alfred-victoria.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline <\/strong>22nd October 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Applications after the above time and date will be automatically rejected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred &amp; Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading ICT solution based company.
