Our team of professional counselors help aspiring students choose their career and education path by placing them in reputed universities and colleges across the world.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>English Tutor<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are looking for Seasoned and competent teachers to teach students of diverse age group in any of the following in our Ibadan centre:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English Section of GRE-Graduate Record Examination<\/li>\n<li>English Section of SAT-Scholastic Assessment Test<\/li>\n<li>PTE-Pearson Test of English Academic.<\/li>\n<li>IELTS-International English Language Testing System<\/li>\n<li>TOFEL-Test of English as a Foreign Language<\/li>\n<li>English Section of GMAT-Graduate Management Admission Test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor student performance or assist students in academic environments, such as classrooms, laboratories, or computing centres.<\/li>\n<li>Review class material with students by discussing text, working solutions to problems, or reviewing worksheets or other assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Assess students\u2019 progress throughout tutoring sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Administer, proctor, or score academic or diagnostic assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Teach students study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance, improve occupational skills, or prepare for academic or occupational tests.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and deliver lessons to students on difficult topics with the subject<\/li>\n<li>Schedule tutoring appointments with students or their parents.<\/li>\n<li>Research or recommend textbooks, software, equipment, or other learning materials to complement tutoring.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and facilitate tutoring workshops, collaborative projects, or academic support sessions for small groups of students.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training and development sessions to improve tutoring practices or learn new tutoring techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Organize tutoring environment to promote productivity and learning.<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and grade students\u2019 class work, assignments, and papers.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and lesson notes.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction. .<\/li>\n<li>Prepare lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students\u2019 needs and goals.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of students\u2019 assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, develop, or implement intervention strategies, tutoring plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.<\/li>\n<li>Develop teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate students\u2019 progress to management, students, parents or teachers in written progress reports, in person, by phone, or by email.).<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, or counselors to determine student needs, develop tutoring plans, or assess student progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to: <a href=\"mailto:adeyemi@oxfordtestprep.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>adeyemi@oxfordtestprep.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline <\/strong> 20th October, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oxford Test Prep Company is the national leader in preparation for standardised tests in English such as the TOEFL, GRE, SAT, IELTS and GMAT.
