From a single country organisation founded in 1949 in Nigeria, UBA has grown to become a Pan-African provider of financial services with over 11 million customers, through close to 1000 business offices and touch points globally.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Network Security Engineer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Network security Engineer is responsible for design, implementation and administration of enterprise security solutions.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate in collaboration with other teams in the information technology division, will monitor security infrastructure of the bank, manage access to the banks network and services both from within and from public networks, manage third party service integrations and ensure that the groups network is well protected.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support for all service within the DMZ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage remote client VPN for vendors\/partners and staffs on Fortigate platform<\/li>\n<li>User access control management on Forti-authenticator<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily system state reports<\/li>\n<li>Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security.<\/li>\n<li>Configure firewall rules to prevent un-authorized access to network\/services<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve identified network\/systems related security issues<\/li>\n<li>Setup and manage site-2-site VPN connections with third parties<\/li>\n<li>Perform the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise\u2019s security documents specifically.<\/li>\n<li>Deployment of new services in the DMZ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Educational Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Science, Electronic Engineering or any related discipline. (B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, will be a distinct advantage)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 2\/3 years post NYSC experience in IT\/Network Security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.<\/li>\n<li>Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues timely<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of Routing and Switching, dynamic protocols A very strong sense of ownership with every assigned task<\/li>\n<li>Excellent presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft visio in developing network security architectures<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in using ADC like F5 LTM and GTM.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design and enterprise security document creation.<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls, Web\/Application filtering IDS\/IPS<\/li>\n<li>Installation, configuration, monitoring and response to security system<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of advanced security protocols and standards<\/li>\n<li>Experience with IP networking, networking protocols, IPSec, Remote Client VPN\u2019s and Site-2-site, Proxy services, Access lists<\/li>\n<li>Experience with internet, web, application and network security techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/917449353\/?eBP=NotAvailableFromVoyagerAPI&amp;refId=e2ac9bee-a905-48d2-8f73-9c91ab7e8b23&amp;trk=d_flagship3_search_srp_jobs&amp;lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_jobs%3Bc3373nmxQziuK7mASXALIw%3D%3D&amp;licu=urn%3Ali%3Acontrol%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_jobs-A_jobssearch_job_result_click&amp;lici=%2FO20rwCSTue%2BQN%2Bkq4y6bQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) is one of Africa\u2019s leading financial institutions, with operations in 19 African countries and 3 global financial centres: London, Paris and New York.
