Our culture promotes innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in an open office environment that has leaders both sitting and working alongside their team.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Analyst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> 3196600<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Business Segment:<\/strong> Global Operations Financial Planning &amp; Analysis COE<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for pacing, supporting close and reporting of Gas Power Services financials and margin reviews on multi-year agreements in the SSA region.<\/li>\n<li>The role requires strong accounting expertise, including knowledge of US GAAP and good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in month and quarter close activities (prepare and post MJE\u2019s) and relevant reports and supervise daily update of pacing tool<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts including CSA deferred income &amp; charge accounts using ART and conFIRM tools<\/li>\n<li>Support annual margin review process for CSA contracts, including but not limited to escalation calculations and other duties assigned by MF<\/li>\n<li>Weekly pacing: Organize country-level pacing calls, aggregating inputs from contract managers for review with MF and service Directors<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate country-level roll-ups to support weekly reviews between MF\/SD\u2019s and Region GM and CFO. Also update region files for submission to HQ and supervise update of pacing tool<\/li>\n<li>Support CFOA estimate process and provide analysis of key drivers and changes on a weekly basis<\/li>\n<li>Support MF in blueprint processes, including Op Plans, SII and Early Read activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college \/or equivalent knowledge or experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Contractual Services Agreement accounting and US GAAP on Revenue Recognition<\/li>\n<li>A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact<\/li>\n<li>Effective problem identification and solution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Working experience in Oracle, Hyperion and CCL an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/69602\/Finance-Analyst\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global Operations is GE\u2019s multi-functional shared services.
