AVA has three major arms which have been streamlined to meet our customer\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0System Engineer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time Employee<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Work Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carryout our deep test on Modems.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with vendors and other involved personnel for problem resolution on telecom equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Carryout verification and performance test on returned and new equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Examine returned network equipment to find out defective component on it.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for simulating field scenarios in the lab to check and identify complaints on returned network equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Provide analysis report on test equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Provide daily report and monthly report on the tested equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Primarily responsible to certify quality and Performance of Network equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all equipment for site installation pass the Performance Bench test.<\/li>\n<li>Receive equipment from store and prepare it for site installation.<\/li>\n<li>Carryout upgrades on equipment firmware and test the upgrade version functionality for compliance<\/li>\n<li>Create manuals and detailed sets of instructions for testing and upgrade procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and test equipment performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with vendor to implement any fixing procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools for test lab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP\/IP).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in cisco switch configuration and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of telecommunication equipment operation.<\/li>\n<li>Have proved technical analysis on telecommunication devices.Good experience of multi-vendor telecommunication equipment.<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc \/ HND in Electrical Electronic\/Computer engineering or other related Course.<\/li>\n<li>Independent problem solver combined with strong team orientation.<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to do components functionality test on Telecommunication devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nVery attractive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/AOsbolSSZKylNhUc2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>31st October, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred &amp; Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading ICT solution based company.
