We build our own software, provide offshore development services to our customers, as well as help them hire Nigerian software developers directly into their engineering organizations in the US and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0WordPress Developer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are hiring experienced WordPress developer with several years experience of working with and managing WordPress sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe developer\u2019s responsibility is to understand the primary customer needs and translate it into a complete product. This task involves the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubleshoot apps for bugs<\/li>\n<li>Implement front-end and back-end requirements<\/li>\n<li>Understanding your client\u2019s business goals<\/li>\n<li>Perform high quality work that not only meets, but exceeds the client\u2019s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the entire app life-cycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are able to pass our engineering skills assessment<\/li>\n<li>Have a four-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in PHP 5.2 and\/or 7.1 (7.1 preferred)<\/li>\n<li>WordPress 4.7+<\/li>\n<li>WordPress plugin development experience and \/ or WordPress theme development experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bonus Technical Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beaver Builder<\/li>\n<li>Beaver Themer<\/li>\n<li>Divi<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Linux or another UNIX like environment (SysAdmin or DevOps experience)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Personal Skills and Characteristics<\/strong><br \/>\nAs the ideal candidate for this role you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Are strongly motivated by joining a company intent on spreading a high quality engineering culture in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent time management and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Are active in the technology ecosystem in your city ex: you organize meet ups, speak at conferences and are active on github<\/li>\n<li>Have experience working remotely as an effective member of a team<\/li>\n<li>Have a vibrant personality and exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.lixy.tech\/jobs\/detail\/wordpress-developer-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>16th November, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LIXYtech is a San Francisco based software consulting firm.
