Esri\u2019s geographic information system (GIS) technology inspires and enables governments, universities, and businesses worldwide to save money, lives, and our environment through a deeper understanding of the changing world around them.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Development Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At Esri, our business development managers collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote the adoption of the ArcGIS platform. We invite you to utilize your enterprise sales and multi-channel software business development experience to help leverage geographic technology in west Africa.<\/li>\n<li>You will work closely with Esri\u2019s Dubai office and distributor network to help customers take advantage of geoanalysis to find unique patterns, trends, and understanding hidden within complex business problems.<\/li>\n<li>When you are not traveling throughout West Africa, you will be based in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive opportunities. Collaborate with staff, distributors, and the WAMEA sales team to create an opportunity development plan that provides clear direction for all software and services to customers or prospects. Form a collaborative virtual team of staff, distributors, strategic partners, and integrators to support the development and execution of sales strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Think strategically. Develop a business development and sales strategy that employs direct and channel approaches to significantly expand the use of our solutions in West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with distributors. Work with Esri\u2019s distributors to demonstrate the value of our technology and solutions to customers and prospects through business case development, references, and ROI. Support distributors to increase the execution of sales activities to achieve internal business objectives. Co-develop proposals to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver results. Manage Esri\u2019s agreements and deployed licenses. Ensure continued success of all Esri\u2019s software deployments. Be familiar with Esri offerings in this \u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00admarket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience providing geospatial, location intelligence, or data analytics solutions<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage the acquisition cycle including prospecting, proposing, closing, and developing an account<\/li>\n<li>Capability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Master of English and French (verbal and written)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel without restriction extensively throughout the Middle East and West Africa with occasional travel to the US<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Esri products<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s in GIS, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recommended Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience working in the areas of BI, marketing, market planning, supply chain, or other key business areas<\/li>\n<li>Experience working for a global consulting organization involved in business process improvement in the areas of engineering, operations, customer care, and finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.com\/en-us\/about\/careers\/job-detail?req=8091&amp;title=Business%20Development%20Manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Solution Engineer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nOverview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At Esri, our solution engineers are part of a highly-skilled team that helps shape strategies on the effective adoption and use of the ArcGIS platform.<\/li>\n<li>We invite you to use your problem-solving skills and passion for GIS technology to become an integral part of an account team in West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for individuals who are natural GIS enthusiasts and enjoy identifying and promoting strategies that will radically improve the way businesses address the challenges they face.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll work closely with a team that helps our customers take advantage of geoanalysis to find unique patterns, trends, and understanding hidden within complex business problems.<\/li>\n<li>When you are not traveling throughout West Africa, you will be based in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build relationships. Become a core member of a regional team as you present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Be an expert. Become a subject matter expert in this region as well as a technical expert of Esri\u2019s complete platform.<\/li>\n<li>Solve problems. Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to our customers by addressing the critical business challenges they face. Define and deliver platform strategies to customers that align Esri\u2019s platform with their business.<\/li>\n<li>Tell our story. Present GIS technical demonstrations of proposed solutions to clients. Understand how to design presentations for technical and non-technical customers within various organizations.
