{"id":66409,"date":"2018-11-01T11:30:51","date_gmt":"2018-11-01T10:30:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=66409"},"modified":"2018-10-31T12:44:31","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T11:44:31","slug":"lilygate-hotel-new-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/lilygate-hotel-new-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Lilygate Hotel New Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lilygate Hotel located in the heart of Lekki Phase 1 is a new luxurious four star hotel with 74 rooms including 6 suites and a full range of facilities.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Pastry Chef<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lekki, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation and baking of all pastry products, according to the established standards and guest satisfaction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reports To:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Pastry Chef reports directly to the Head Chef and ultimately to the General Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Areas of Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forwarding suggestions for improvements in raw material, menus, cost savings and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Making sure that all buffets are well presented.<\/li>\n<li>Assuring that all food requests are executed to the fullest satisfaction of the guest in accordance with the Company\u2019s policies.<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of all fire, safety and emergency procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Performing other duties if required and being prepared to work overtime if requested.<\/li>\n<li>Attending daily meetings as may be required.<\/li>\n<li>Should be familiar with proper sanitation procedures and follow the Public Health requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of all typical pastry products, Food Service and Cleaning Procedures for the section assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Guarding all food storerooms including fridge and freezer in his\/her section.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring proper maintenance and cleaning of equipment and materials in the respective section.<\/li>\n<li>Takes part in food storage (quality and quantity controls) when required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains the high standard presentation of food and buffets, together with the Executive Chef and is responsible for planning, directing, controlling, cooking and co-ordination.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in all kitchen activities to the agreed standards and to the complete satisfaction of the guests.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and cooking of bakery products to the highest standards to ascertain an efficient food service.<\/li>\n<li>Assuring that all pastry items are prepared and served according to established standards and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Minimizing spoilages and utilizing food surpluses.<\/li>\n<li>Training of his\/her personnel on a continuous basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous hotel working experience required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr.lilygatelagos@yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr.lilygatelagos@yahoo.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>2nd November, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lilygate Hotel located in the heart of Lekki Phase 1 is a new luxurious four star hotel with 74 rooms including 6 suites and a full range of facilities.
