{"id":66633,"date":"2018-11-06T11:40:24","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T10:40:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=66633"},"modified":"2018-11-05T12:25:33","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T11:25:33","slug":"hilton-worldwide-new-job-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/hilton-worldwide-new-job-opening.html","title":{"rendered":"Hilton Worldwide New Job Opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hilton Worldwide is one of the largest and fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, with more than 4,200 hotels, resorts and timeshare properties comprising more than 690,000 rooms in 93 countries and territories.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Security Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> HOT05QOD<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Brand Portfolio:<\/strong> Conrad Hotels &amp; Resorts<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Part-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Security Officer patrols, monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience while investigating theft and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What will I be doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience.<\/li>\n<li>A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe passage of cash transfers within the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide secure storage for guest oversized items<\/li>\n<li>Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents<\/li>\n<li>Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader<\/li>\n<li>Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and control staff entrances<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately<\/li>\n<li>Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for checking goods received out of hours<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys<\/li>\n<li>Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What are we looking for?<\/strong><br \/>\nA Security Officer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
