{"id":66683,"date":"2018-11-05T15:40:09","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T14:40:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=66683"},"modified":"2018-11-05T15:44:13","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T14:44:13","slug":"young-readers-library-vacancy-program-intern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/young-readers-library-vacancy-program-intern.html","title":{"rendered":"Young Readers Library Vacancy For Program Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Young Readers Library \u2013 A book club that ignites the reader within your child, builds language, vocabulary, Comprehension among other skills.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Program Intern<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description\/Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support in the collation of reports and success stories from the projects.<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Directly Support the Program Director on all Programmatic initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of work plans, reports and project documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research to enhance program performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Training Available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A one morning induction and introduction to the library and Library Services.<\/li>\n<li>Shadowing sessions with other library staff to gain confidence and knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to coordinate work smoothly and multi-task with other teams and departments<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Clear, confident, and succinct oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job<\/li>\n<li>Respects that confidentiality is required in this position<\/li>\n<li>The ability to cope with the duties and responsibilities of the post and the associated environment, including an understanding of health &amp; safety.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification: BA\/B.Sc\/HND<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively, verbally with library staff and members of the public, especially children.<\/li>\n<li>Takes initiative and can work with little direction in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A credible reference will be needed as the role involves interaction with children.<\/li>\n<li>Must be available Monday-Friday 8am \u2013 4pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:career.temp@youngreaderslibrary.org.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>career.temp@youngreaderslibrary.org.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>9th November, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Young Readers Library \u2013 A book club that ignites the reader within your child, builds language, vocabulary, Comprehension among other skills.
