It operates in two segments, Drilling and Evaluation, and Completion and Production. Baker Hughes recruits Graduate Nonfield engineers<\/strong><\/p>\n As well as hands-on field roles, we have a range of engineering opportunities in the office, laboratory, or factory, including reliability, supply chain management, R&D, and design. For reliability and supply chain management, we offer comprehensive three-year rotational training programs.<\/p>\n What you need We are seeking people who<\/p>\n are fluent in English (able to achieve Level 5 on a global English test) Bachelor’s in supply chain management (MBA with a focus in supply chain management is a plus) applied science Ph.D. in engineering, physics or nuclear engineering. Depending on the geographic area in which you live, there may be specific employment requirements according to your location, which will be explained during the application process.<\/p>\n Role We obtain raw materials and components, transform them into products and services, and move the products and services from suppliers to customers. Our manufacturing and supply chain facilities are located strategically around the world so our customers can work more efficiently. The structured three-year Supply Chain Rotational Program (SCRP) includes formal training and on-job experience that aims to prepare you for a leadership position. It will involve you in tasks ranging from purchasing and strategic sourcing to materials analysis and global logistics.<\/p>\n Reliability<\/p>\n We’re committed to reliability and quality in everything we do. When you join this three-year rotational program, you\u2019ll undertake a variety of engineering roles, ranging from reliability and environmental testing to product diagnostics and staff audits.<\/p>\n R&D\/design<\/p>\n Our Technology Centers look for Ph.D. graduates in engineering and science disciplines and offer you the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a research, development, or design role. Our work involves us in developing and implementing complex and sophisticated solutions. That means you are likely to be working with emerging technologies for hydrocarbon production, extraction, and fluids handling. You could participate in projects tackling a range of issues, from high-temperature shale-gas formations and other unconventional hydrocarbons to remote deepwater frontiers, geothermal energy, and carbon capture and storage.<\/p>\n
\nSome office or laboratory-based roles are open to those who have a Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering. For the majority of nonfield roles, we\u2019re typically seeking people who\u2019ve specialized in a relevant discipline.<\/p>\n
