Our rapid expanding business means plenty of opportunities to step into the spotlight and acquire lifetime experience.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Graduate Trainee Accountant<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Alagbado, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Core Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate the reconciliation of the accounts of a business.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains good relationships with suppliers to avoid anomalies in supply.<\/li>\n<li>Work with an auditor of a company to ensure proper scrutiny of its accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies market trends and financial mishaps of a business, and advises management on how to increase profits and reduce losses.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in formulating and monitoring the budget of a business and provides recommendations on budgetary allocation.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews business\u2019s financial reports and other documents to ensure they are accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Provide reliable and pertinent information for organizing and allocating funds.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all transactions are covered by adequate sanctions and do not have any deviations.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes proactive and effective communication among work mates and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains confidentiality of information ensuring that top secret ideas are accorded the confidentiality they deserve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant should have B.Sc. in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must be a fresh graduate who has completed NYSC.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must live within Alagbado, Ota, Iyana Ipaja axis.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must have graduated with at least second class upper division<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to operate computer (Ms word, Ms excel etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nYou will need to show:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business skills \u2013 ability to manage budgets, lead team and liaise with suppliers<\/li>\n<li>The ability to negotiate with, and persuade others<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>The confidence to respond positively when under pressure<\/li>\n<li>People management skills, high level of initiative and self-management skill.<\/li>\n<li>The capacity to understand a range of accounting functions and procedures<\/li>\n<li>The ability to lead and motivate others<\/li>\n<li>Team working skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working time is normally between 7:30am to 5pm from Mondays to Fridays and 8:30am-3pm on Saturdays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@graceco.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@graceco.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0The subject of the mail should be \u201cGraduate Trainee Account\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>15th November, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Graceco Limited \u2013 We are a food processing and manufacturing company with specialty in consumer goods and the production of input for bakers and the confectionery industries.
