It was incorporated on 3rd November 1988, commenced business on the 1st of January 1989 and has embarked on a dynamic and diversified expansion programme since inception.<\/p>\n<p>The Mikado Group has gone on to grow very successful business in sectors ranging from Electronic Security to Telecommunications, Traffic and Transportation Management, Fragrance and Flavours distribution.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sales Executive<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selling of Company\u2019s Security and Communication Devices e.g.CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, PABX, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prospecting of new clients.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and email.<\/li>\n<li>Cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.<\/li>\n<li>Recording sales and order information and entering figures into the system.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.<\/li>\n<li>Gaining a clear understanding of customer businesses and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.<\/li>\n<li>Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and presentation of weekly, quarterly and yearly budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.<\/li>\n<li>Gathering market and customer information.<\/li>\n<li>Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on product developments and discussing special promotions.<\/li>\n<li>Creating detailed proposal documents often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc from a reputable University<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years work experience in Sales, preferably in a Telecommunications\/ICT company<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@mikadong.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@mikadong.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>1st December, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mikado Nigeria Limited, the parent company of the Group has its origin in the 80\u2019s, was conceived by the entrepreneurial activities of the founder \u201cMichael Ojeme\u201d.
