More than 80% of Pork consumed in this part of the world is imported, that is monies that when localized would create many financial opportunities for farmers, wholesalers, retailers and the population at large.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> CEO &amp; Managing Partner\/COO<strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Reports organization\u2019s finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Document financial transactions by entering account information<\/li>\n<li>Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into department\u2019s goal setting process<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule<\/li>\n<li>Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance<\/li>\n<li>Plan, assign and review staff\u2019s work<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with clients<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel<\/li>\n<li>Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports<\/li>\n<li>Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information<\/li>\n<li>Secure financial information by completing database backups<\/li>\n<li>Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions<\/li>\n<li>Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial information and summarise financial status<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and advice on management<\/li>\n<li>Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participate in financial standards-setting and in forecast process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accounting \/Financial studies.
