Helping us do this is a diverse community of over 17,000 employees across 198 global offices, all connected by a love of travel and a passion for creating the perfect customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Account Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for the account management team in the appointed market, managing and motivating people in your team.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for the account management of some of the hotels in the area.<\/li>\n<li>You create quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Booking.com BV.<\/li>\n<li>You advise hotels about information on the Booking.com website, and provide them the (initial) training on how to use Booking.com BV\u2018s system.<\/li>\n<li>You will be reporting to the Area Manager in improving hotel availability and supply and supporting Booking.com BV in meeting the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website.<\/li>\n<li>This full time position will be based in our Lagos office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a team of Account Managers Hotels in Lagos;<\/li>\n<li>Provide constant feedback and support to your team members;<\/li>\n<li>Hold regular meetings, 1:1\u2019s, performance and appraisal reviews;<\/li>\n<li>Direct account management for hotels in an appointed region<\/li>\n<li>Visit the important hotels;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for area coverage;<\/li>\n<li>Support Booking.com BV\u2019s-strategy for hotel availability and supply within appointed region<\/li>\n<li>Promote the Booking.com BV brand name and its online reservation services to hotels;<\/li>\n<li>Liaison person for hotels to contact when they have questions;<\/li>\n<li>Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow-ups;<\/li>\n<li>Accompany and train hotels on how to use Booking.com BV\u2019s extranet and rates &amp; availability system;<\/li>\n<li>Support hotels with regards to Booking.com BV\u2019s system;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with hotels on allotment, availability and supply;<\/li>\n<li>Organize and coordinate Tourist Trade Fair visits to liaise with hotels;<\/li>\n<li>You will also need to be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Booking.com BV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail;<\/li>\n<li>Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in e-travel and hospitality;<\/li>\n<li>Business focused;<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude;<\/li>\n<li>University background preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license;<\/li>\n<li>Availability to travel 50% of the time;<\/li>\n<li>You are a Nigerian national or can obtain a Work Permit<\/li>\n<li>2-4 years of experience in a comparable management function;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English;<\/li>\n<li>Affinity\/experience within e-travel and\/or hotel\/travel industry;<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active, sense of responsibility, friendly and ability to work independently;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/workingatbooking.com\/vacancies\/sr-account-manager-lagos\/?utm_source=linkedin&amp;utm_medium=jobposting&amp;utm_campaign=Linkedin%20Jobwrapping&amp;gh_src=rau0t81\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Booking.com is one of the world\u2019s largest e-commerce companies, and the number one destination to book any type of accommodation.
