GE works on things that matter \u2013 great people and technologies taking on tough challenges.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Executive Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> 3201243<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function:<\/strong> Business Management<br \/>\n<strong>Business Segment:<\/strong> Healthcare Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position will provide efficient and effective administration service and project management support to the Healthcare Executive General Manager- West Central &amp; French Speaking Africa LCT.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate needs to show tangible evidence in meeting the essential responsibilities of the role at least 90% of the time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, schedule, and arrange business meetings and travel itineraries; maintain passport and visa requirements; prepare and reconcile Travel &amp; Living (T&amp;L) expenses as required<\/li>\n<li>Direct business contacts to appropriate managers<\/li>\n<li>Prepare presentations, reports, spreadsheets, meeting minutes and other business information<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing expense accounts and budgets<\/li>\n<li>Provide discrete and confidential coordination of sensitive company information<\/li>\n<li>Use discretion in interfacing with all levels of individuals, internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate needs and accomplish responsibilities independently<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, evaluate, and edit incoming and outgoing communications for the executive<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple projects and priorities and initiates follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments<\/li>\n<li>The Executive Assistant is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity<\/li>\n<li>In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning<\/li>\n<li>Provide overall office management and administrative duties such as phone coverage, call screening, memos and letters for the executives<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain strong communication links with Regional, Function, and Department level secretarial and administrative personnel<\/li>\n<li>Proactively coordinate the Executive\u2019s calendar, which is comprised of heavy meeting scheduling and extensive travel coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge or experience<\/li>\n<li>2- 5 years\u2019 experience with GE or similar multinational supporting Officers and Senior Executives on an international travel<\/li>\n<li>Must be fluent in spoken and written English Language<\/li>\n<li>Excellent calendar management skills, travel management, including the coordination of complex executive meetings across multiple geographies<\/li>\n<li>Team player, inclusive and ability to build relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary and required by the Executive<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment at a high level of professionalism and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding presentation, attention to details, organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, clear thinker with a high degree of creativity and resourcefulness with experience working in developing markets<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management skills, good business acumen and attitude in order to support Executive<\/li>\n<li>A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Ability to consistently produce high quality work with an eye for detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make independent decisions with minimal oversight\u2026 a self-starter with an ability to think ahead and plan for all scenarios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/72190\/Executive-Assistant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies and services to meet the demand for increased access, enhanced quality and more affordable healthcare around the world.
