{"id":67488,"date":"2018-11-21T13:30:33","date_gmt":"2018-11-21T12:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=67488"},"modified":"2018-11-21T10:06:20","modified_gmt":"2018-11-21T09:06:20","slug":"ipnx-nigeria-limited-new-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ipnx-nigeria-limited-new-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"IpNX Nigeria Limited New Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ipNX is an integrated info-communications company focused on providing every person, every home and every business in Nigeria with world-class information, communication and entertainment services.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>IP Telephony Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 54<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Group Infrastructure Unit<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Head, Engineering<br \/>\n<strong>Travel Frequency:<\/strong> Occasional<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Pre-sale support, Implementation and technical support for all IP Telephony services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Key Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exceed MTTR for all voice related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver all voice projects within agreed timeline with the customers.<\/li>\n<li>Proffer voice solutions within timeline agreed with the customer during presales engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver all voice projects within agreed timeline with the customers.<\/li>\n<li>Exceed MTTR for all voice related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications &amp; Functional Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc\/B.Eng Computer Science\/Computer Engineering\/Electrical-Electronics Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>CCNP\/CCIE (Voice)<\/li>\n<li>4 Years work experience in similar roles.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Level Knowledge on Telecommunications, IP designs and implementation skills, &amp; in-depth knowledge of IP Network.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to find solution to complex network problems through creative thinking, analytical reasoning and past experiences along with available resources and information.<\/li>\n<li>Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent business communication skills both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Work Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementing and troubleshooting various WAN Networks running various routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS VPNs.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing and troubleshooting Mobile IP networks.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Windows\/Linux Servers Operating System.<\/li>\n<li>Support systems for network management including a working knowledge of SNMP, Voice technologies and services including VoIP, PBX, PRI, ISDN, ACD, call recording, voicemail, conferencing, and CDRs<\/li>\n<li>Substantive experience interfacing with network carriers and ISPs in LAN\/WAN solution.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Unix\/Linux shell scripting.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of different Linux OS, CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu.<\/li>\n<li>Design, Implementation &amp; Support of VoIP networks.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of SIP based VoIP network architecture.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of voice codecs &amp; SIP-E1, SIP-Analogue architectures.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with several VoIP deployments e.g. CUCM, CME, Trixbox, Asterisk.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of IP-PBX, Analogue PABX configurations and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of network analytical tools e.g. Wireshark, Colasoft Capsa etc.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing and troubleshooting various LAN Networks.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Wi-Fi 802.11 a\/b\/g\/n\/e configurations and complete set-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cultivate Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to optimize work processes<\/li>\n<li>Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Self-Development<\/li>\n<li>Nimble Learning.<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<li>Tech savvy<\/li>\n<li>Team Work<\/li>\n<li>Action orientation<\/li>\n<li>Drive results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.ipnxnigeria.net\/jobs\/ip-telephony-engineer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>31st December, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ipNX is an integrated info-communications company focused on providing every person, every home and every business in Nigeria with world-class information, communication and entertainment services.
