The key interventions delivered were; Nutrition Care, Management of co-morbidities, provision of basic essential health services, mental health and psychosocial support, supply of medicines and health-related commodities, coordination and management information system among others.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, the Federal Ministry of Health, seeks to recruit additional Health volunteers for Twelve (12) months in the capacity below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Nutrition Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Borno<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe emergency intervention program was implemented in two (2) phases over a period of Twelve (12) months, focusing on the most vulnerable populations (women, children under 5, pregnant and lactating mothers) in the most affected areas. Specifically the emergency support was targeted at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IDPs in camps and host communities.<\/li>\n<li>Host Communities impacted by influx of IDPs<\/li>\n<li>IDPs in make-shift or informal camps<\/li>\n<li>IDPs that moved out of camps to their original communities.<\/li>\n<li>Refugees returning from other countries<\/li>\n<li>People residing in newly accessible areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This intervention which was the biggest public sector intervention was adjudged very successful by all stakeholders.
