We operate a structured yet fun and easy-going work environment and also a management trainee and in-house entrepreneurial mentorship program.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Slots:<\/strong> Openings<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software quality assurance engineers use their program coding and testing skills to help software developers enhance product performance by writing automated tests.<\/li>\n<li>They monitor, analyze and test software during development in order to ensure quality.<\/li>\n<li>As a software quality assurance engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities.<\/li>\n<li>You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting with system users to understand the scope of projects<\/li>\n<li>Working with software developers and project support teams<\/li>\n<li>Designing tests to mitigate risk<\/li>\n<li>Presenting findings to software development and business user teams<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring applications and software systems<\/li>\n<li>Stress, performance, functional and scalability testing<\/li>\n<li>Writing and executing test scripts<\/li>\n<li>Running manual and automated tests<\/li>\n<li>Testing in different environments including web and mobile<\/li>\n<li>Writing bug reports<\/li>\n<li>Identifying business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Performing data analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Writing &amp; reviewing documentation<\/li>\n<li>Project planning and working towards departmental and project deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Quality assurance and problem-solving<\/li>\n<li>Providing objective feedback to software development project teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical thinking, broad perspective, being overall smart.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of a programming language preferably JavaScript.<\/li>\n<li>Broad knowledge of IT.<\/li>\n<li>High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of test automation with protractor, selenium etc.<\/li>\n<li>Good SQL and data analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of or willingness to learn new productivity tools and constructs like Excel, UML, an image editing tool etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@supermartng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@supermartng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the position as the title of your email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>2nd December, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supermart.ng -Nigeria\u2019s leading online supermarket.
