and the initial capital challenges faced by a small business which is why we have developed solutions which ensure that small business owners have access to technical skills but at a fraction of the cost.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Digital and Social Media Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDetails<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Digital and Social Media Officer will manage the company\u2019s digital and social media presence in a cohesive way to achieve its marketing goals.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will work to ensure high levels of customer engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functions of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily<\/li>\n<li>Create a regular publishing schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Update content on the website<\/li>\n<li>Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Promote content through social advertising<\/li>\n<li>Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals<\/li>\n<li>Set specific objectives and report on ROI<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews<\/li>\n<li>Oversee social media platforms design<\/li>\n<li>Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications<\/li>\n<li>Perform other tasks assigned to you by management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in any relevant field<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years experience in social media management<\/li>\n<li>Must have a portfolio of platforms you have managed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Content creation skill<\/li>\n<li>Copywriting skill<\/li>\n<li>Communication skill<\/li>\n<li>Video editing skill<\/li>\n<li>Web management skill<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must live on Lekki axis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Automation Engineer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDetails<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Automation Engineer will work closely with the Automation Supervisor and Automation Assistant.<\/li>\n<li>He or she will be responsible for developing project designs, implementation, problem solving, maintaining the required level of quality and stability for projects.<\/li>\n<li>He or she will also provide support to customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop design, schematics and drawings using SI D-tools, Chief Architect and Microsoft Visio<\/li>\n<li>Develop project proposals, bill of materialsand follow-up with clients<\/li>\n<li>Assist in troubleshooting issues with company installed systems by visiting customer residences or providing remote support and document resolution actions accordingly in a knowledge base.<\/li>\n<li>Perform design prototyping and testing<\/li>\n<li>Write user manuals, procedures and workflows to communicate steps for implementing routine and repetitive tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide timely and detailed status updates<\/li>\n<li>Visit customer residences to resolve incidents or provide online remote support<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up, manage and train dealers on all aspects of company product portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes, tracks, and reports on product issues and maintains documentation on project issues and defect metrics<\/li>\n<li>Perform product research and stay abreast of technology and industry trends and communicate same to management<\/li>\n<li>Create, document and review data sheets, architecture diagrams and schematics for products from different manufacturers.<\/li>\n<li>Propose improvement initiatives for management\u2019s consideration<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Automation Supervisor to carry out tasks as required by management<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and send report to the Automation Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Other special projects and tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must possess a BSc\/BA in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@owensxley.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@owensxley.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Owens and Xley Consults is a Small Business Advisory and Consulting Company in Lagos, Nigeria.
