For more than 5 years, we\u2019ve been passionate about achieving better results for our clients, results that go beyond financials and are uniquely tailored, pragmatic, holistic, sustainable and clients oriented.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Nurse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements<\/li>\n<li>Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families<\/li>\n<li>Promotes patient\u2019s independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions<\/li>\n<li>Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division\u2019s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations<\/li>\n<li>Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies<\/li>\n<li>Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. title:nurse, registered<\/li>\n<li>Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer\u2019s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results<\/li>\n<li>Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel<\/li>\n<li>Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations<\/li>\n<li>Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records<\/li>\n<li>Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Nursing with minimum of 2 years experience<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Physiological Knowledge, Administering Medication, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@sigma.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@sigma.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>30th November, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sigma Consulting is one of the fast-growing Nigeria\u2019s management &amp; healthcare consulting firms.
