We are a leading company that pioneered the development of solar energy throughout Nigeria and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accounts Admin Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Enugu<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Accounts Admin Officer will be responsible for all financial, and related administrative matters of the office; reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts as well as general office administration duties.<\/li>\n<li>The Accounts Admin will report to, and work closely with the Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall responsibility for all aspects of financial management and control.<\/li>\n<li>Effective financial reporting for the office in a timely, accurate, and informative manner.<\/li>\n<li>General office administration duties.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of annual budgets for submission to Head office<\/li>\n<li>Management of Accounts Payable &amp; Accounts Receivable.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with banks for all finance matters.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to government taxes and revenues.<\/li>\n<li>Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments<\/li>\n<li>Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets<\/li>\n<li>Processing monthly payroll (ROI, Commissions &amp; NI).<\/li>\n<li>Management and preparation of monthly cash-flow projections.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of quarterly management accounts for the office, to include P&amp;L \/ Balance Sheet and analysis of variances.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of annual accounts to trial balance stage, and liaising with external auditor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe candidates should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>OND\/HND\/BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational and time-management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>High levels of professionalism, initiative, energy, creativity and flexibility.<\/li>\n<li>Proven work experience in either industry or practice; or be able to demonstrate substantial experience in an existing similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Have hands-on experience in Quick Books or any accounting software experience is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection experience<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)<\/li>\n<li>Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A collaborative environment that pushes you to think beyond your boundaries<\/li>\n<li>A diverse workload, keeping you continually stimulated<\/li>\n<li>An open forum for expression of ideas<\/li>\n<li>Diverse opportunities to expand your skills, and learn newer skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Covering Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers2@astrumenergy.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers2@astrumenergy.com.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>4th January, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Astrum Energy is Nigeria #1 full service, solar energy provider.
