Demanding a SHIFT in the way things have been done in Nigeria, in the past 50yrs.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s SHIFTING from the old ways of doing things to the PROPER way of doing things in government or in private business.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Program Analyst<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SHIFT Nigeria is looking for a passionate entry level Program Analyst to support our programs through research, marketing and administrative tasks and help us accomplish our mission and make an impact<\/li>\n<li>This is a full-time, paid position in Abuja, Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support event planning and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Support special project initiatives for leadership and any additional program goals<\/li>\n<li>Support social media and marketing initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Support content research and development<\/li>\n<li>Research and collect data on national, state, and local political leadership<\/li>\n<li>Research political topics ranging from the Nigerian political system to broader political ideologies in other democracies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail, including exacting standards to maintain accuracy and excellence<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively and comfortable working in cross functional teams<\/li>\n<li>High level of comfort with using technology to complete tasks (Google Tools, email platforms, social media platforms, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated commitment to social justice issues and understanding of challenges facing poor communities across the nation<\/li>\n<li>A passion and commitment to democratic principles and making Nigeria great<\/li>\n<li>Humility, integrity, passion, motivation, and a self-starter attitude<\/li>\n<li>Strong primary, secondary, and online research skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing and communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with teams or organizations outside Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a rapidly changing work environment (SHIFT is still very much a startup)<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO\/Social media etc.) and market research methods<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools<\/li>\n<li>Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite &amp; CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Work Experience and Training:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have worked in political, NGO, consulting, Civil Society or related environment<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Training in Political Science, Communication, Journalism, Public Policy, Law or related Degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letters to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:talent@shiftnigeria.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">talent@shiftnigeria.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>with \u201cProgram Analyst, SHIFT Nigeria\u201d as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shift Nigeria is a call for responsible leadership and followership.
