By joining \u201cBourbon\u201d you will be \u201cUnder the flag of excellence\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Referent OSV Chief Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref Id:<\/strong> 180158<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMission<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously develop and improve competence of crew on board to ensure highest technical availability of vessels with efficient and cost optimized maintenance process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Description and Expected Outcome\/Performance Indicators<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to develop competence management in Maintenance and Safe performance:\n<ul>\n<li>Scheduling Vessels Technical Survey\/Visit offshore and in port\u00a0 and ensuring yearly achievement<\/li>\n<li>Training crew on board for procedures, conduct training on board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>TA full implementation<\/li>\n<li>Supervise vessel maintenance and Safety on board by conducting VTI and tech visit<\/li>\n<li>Assist Ch. Engineers with Operations where applicable for<\/li>\n<li>Investigate Incident &amp; tech breakdown on board<\/li>\n<li>Assist crew with Spare Parts Management<\/li>\n<li>Develop and organize a best practice maintenance manual according to specific system of the vessel<\/li>\n<li>Conduct appraisals of Technical Officers during onshore period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KPIs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quality based Investigation of tech incident and tech breakdown<\/li>\n<li>Develop and organize a best practice maintenance manual according to specific system of the vessel<\/li>\n<li>Conduct appraisals of Technical Officers during onshore period<\/li>\n<li>Assist with crew briefings<\/li>\n<li>Number of visits by Tech team as per Annual plan (min 2 x vessel visit offshore per year)<\/li>\n<li>SDF completed as per SMS and identified list for training needs<\/li>\n<li>Number of external audit findings related to TECH process<\/li>\n<li>Annual appraisal and review for tech team on board<\/li>\n<li>VTI reports as per plan<\/li>\n<li>e-learning completed by tech team on board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Line Reporting and Functional Linkage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to Technical Manager and interfaces with Tech Superintendents , Masters, CE\u2019s and crew, HR, HSE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant seafarers qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years as CE onboard OSV Vessels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to transfer skills to others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavior:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills, negotiation, training and facilitation, HR development, Performance development, stress management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Languages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Computer Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft office package and Task Assistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Contract:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rotational position \u2013 Flexible 3m on\/1m off \u2013 majority of time spent offshore between various vessels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/bourbon.taleo.net\/careersection\/7\/jobdetail.ftl?job=180158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bourbon Oil and Gas \u2013 As international leader in marine services, \u201cBourbon\u201d offers to the most demanding oil &amp;
