We are passionate about brewing and have a long tradition of craftsmanship, making superb beer from high quality natural ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Operator, Packaging<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> SAB-485<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ilesa, Osun<br \/>\n<strong>Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunities exist in Ilesa Plant for the position of Operator, Packaging, reporting to the Shift Team Leader.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent will Safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment and related processes in order to achieve optimal effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nAmongst other duties, the Operator will;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate and control the process according to SOP\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Conduct autonomous maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Operate the equipment according to the work instructions and adhering to safe working practices at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Manage PIMS &amp; POMS and take corrective action on negative trends<\/li>\n<li>Use QFR\u2019s (As per triggers)<\/li>\n<li>Complete 5 WHY\u2019s (As per triggers) with relevant team members<\/li>\n<li>Contribute towards Abnormality reports as required<\/li>\n<li>Manage quality at source<\/li>\n<li>Improve personal competence and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy work environment<\/li>\n<li>Measure performance attributes<\/li>\n<li>Record performance attributes<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate trends<\/li>\n<li>Assure quality of inputs<\/li>\n<li>Initiate corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret and implement production plan for shift<\/li>\n<li>Operate manual and automatic machines on line as per standards<\/li>\n<li>Monitor production processes on shift and correct any negative trends<\/li>\n<li>Ensure process quality and productivity<\/li>\n<li>Complete associated tracking and monitoring:<\/li>\n<li>Complete operator workstation administration and take action as required.<\/li>\n<li>Complete Team room administration as required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure machine is in working order<\/li>\n<li>Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Work and communicate effectively in teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OND\/B.Sc\/HND or equivalent in Engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a packaging process environment.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years in FMCG environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience in running a high speed packaging line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nMarket Related.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<br \/>\n<\/strong>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sabmiller.mcidirecthire.com\/External\/Job?Ref=TEkBhDYErs0qhHgueWeCgt%2fyRI%2bcnPLR1MRk1RR6Cpou3ktpvROhSqni%2fBGkK6j0ncsWvClKG2fP%2ba%2fjEYzepz2w21DKStnMgbiklr1eAK%2bpcV0GV%2b%2fHY66VQrnKo%2bXFUNSLpQAZKOVUN2Q3Peo%2bvQ%3d%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SABMiller is in the beer and soft drinks business, bringing refreshment and sociability to millions of people all over the world who enjoy our drinks.
