We strive to be a world class business school which will have a significant impact on the practice of management.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Grants Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively engage and interact with grant-making community to explore relevant sponsorship projects that fit into faculty research interest and overall School\u2019s research agenda.<\/li>\n<li>Provide various possible sources of both local and international grants to faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and provide lists of calls for grant proposals to LBS research community.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to calls and draft proposals with support from faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with project costing\/budgeting and pre project implementation requirement and sign-off processes.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly follow-up and consulting with donors to close deals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with donor requirements and general code of practice and ethics<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with donors, consultants and project stakeholders to obtain relevant contributions and inputs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate negotiation and agreement for project sign-off.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the frequent update of research grant database<\/li>\n<li>Other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Research Director or Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Skill Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relationship and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Project planning &amp; organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Written communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Coordination skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility &amp; ability to work under multiple demands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Technical Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grant writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Desk research\u00a0 &amp; strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Database management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minimum Qualification &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. in Social Science, Quantitative Studies or any other related discipline, from a reputable institution.
