Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships are for PhD candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries, to spend up to 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country.<\/p>\n
Funded by the\u00a0UK Department for International Development (DFID)<\/a>, Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. These scholarships are offered under six themes:<\/p>\n Split-site Scholarships are now open<\/p>\n These scholarships are for:<\/p>\n Full eligibility criteria is included in the\u00a0terms and conditions<\/a>\u00a0on page 2.\u00a0<\/strong>Please read\u00a0all sections<\/strong>\u00a0of the terms and conditions before applying.<\/p>\n Eligible Commonwealth countries<\/strong><\/p>\n Antigua and Barbuda How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n You must make your application directly to the CSC using the CSC\u2019s online application system. The CSC will not accept any applications that are not submitted via the online application system. You are not required to apply via a nominating body for these scholarships.<\/p>\n Only one application per applicant for these scholarships will be accepted.<\/p>\n Application deadline:\u00a0Your application must be submitted by\u00a016:00 (GMT)<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a004 February 2019<\/strong>\u00a0at the latest.<\/p>\n You are advised to complete and submit your application as soon as possible, as the online application system will be very busy in the days leading up to the application deadline.<\/p>\n Supporting documentation deadline:\u00a0Your application must include the following supporting documentation by\u00a016:00 (GMT)\u00a0<\/strong>on\u00a018 February 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n The CSC will not accept supporting documentation submitted outside the online application system.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Access the online application system<\/p>\n The\u00a0online application system<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is now open.<\/p>\n The CSC aims to identify talented individuals who have the potential to make change.
