{"id":69007,"date":"2018-12-17T13:06:42","date_gmt":"2018-12-17T12:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=69007"},"modified":"2018-12-17T13:06:42","modified_gmt":"2018-12-17T12:06:42","slug":"edo-state-government-latest-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/edo-state-government-latest-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Edo State Government Latest Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edo State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs &amp; Social Development has secured the FGN\/World Bank 5year Women Empowerment Initiative programme to be implemented in the State.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>State Project Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Edo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Functional Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing joint stakeholder workshops dealing with implementation guidelines, experience sharing, performance evaluation, or as otherwise needed to improve Project effectiveness;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing arid supervising the consolidation of Project accounts and reports;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing and facilitating supervision missions;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that comprehensive technical and financial quarterly reports are received from implementing Units reviewed, consolidated, analysed and submitted to FMoWASD and WB;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating and managing capacity building for relevant government departments at the State and LGA levels<\/li>\n<li>Managing the planning and facilitation of support to relevant Ministry in terms of participatory, community-based Skills and the introduction and use of technologies and techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that annual audits, mid-term review and Project completion report are prepared on schedule and of required quality<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that, in general Project implementation arrangements comply with the Project Financing Agreements;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the use of equipment and supplies procured is strictly for purposes of the Project<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and enhancing systems of internal control to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Government of Nigeria and the World Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the proper monitoring of all accounting records and bank accounts and the financial management aspects of Project implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other relevant duties assigned higher official<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the State project\u2019s activities in conformity with the Financing Agreement of State Government\/FGN and WB and as stipulated in the Project Appraisal Document<\/li>\n<li>Leads the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, liaison and reporting,<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking field visits surveys in order to monitor and evaluate Project implementation; and identify problems and propose remedial action\/ alternative courses of action to accelerate\/improve Project delivery;<\/li>\n<li>Developing the Annual Work Plan and Budget for, the Project and monitoring compliance to ensure objectives and targets are met and achieved;<\/li>\n<li>Guiding, super-rising and coordinating the activities and functions of the core staff of the SPIU and providing oversight for the LGA Project Implementation Units;<\/li>\n<li>Supervising all SPIU staff to ensure their work is effectively and hilly accomplished;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee monitoring and evaluation and ensure key issues and concerns are properly addressed;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: Degree qualification<\/li>\n<li>Experience: Over 10 years of experience in coordinating\/implementing complex multicomponent, multi-level Project would be an advantage including experience working with government, international agencies, and donor agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The person should have established leadership and project management skills, and good communication written and oral skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge\/experience in gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates from GL15 and above should submit their Curriculum Vitae (12 copies) to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Office the Permanent Secretary,<br \/>\nEdo State Ministry of Women Affairs &amp; Social Development,<br \/>\nBenin City, Edo State.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>31st December, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Edo State Government through the Ministry of Women Affairs &amp; Social Development has secured the FGN\/World Bank 5year Women Empowerment Initiative programme to be implemented in the State.
