With joining MainOne you\u2019ll be challenged, inspired and proud as you become a part of something big.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Information Security Officer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Technical<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Information Security Officer will ensure that MainOne Information Security Management systems are up to date and fully operational, thus maintaining and enhancing customer trust.<\/li>\n<li>He will participate actively in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing and security reviews in MainOne with particular focus on the MDXi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide backup support to the IP security specialists in tier 2 and tier 3 security operations to secure the MainOne network by enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.<\/li>\n<li>Track the ISMS Calendar to ensure all activities are up to date with the requisite evidence as detailed by the ISMS Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in all security compliance efforts (e.g., PCIDSS and ISO27001)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the effective review of all Information security alerts and notifications in line with IS Policy.<\/li>\n<li>Support the delivery of internal Information Security training and general Information security awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in IS incident handling and response procedure as may be assigned by the ISMS Manager or Security specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates working with: Cisco Routers &amp; Switches, operating systems, (e.g. Windows and\/or Linux), HR Approved Copy Network Administration, and TCP\/IP will have an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with: Systems security, Network security, Firewalls, IDS \/ IPS, vulnerability assessments, incident response.<\/li>\n<li>General Knowledge of network routing and security protocols and implementations: TCP\/IP, SSL, IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, and VLANs is required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of a process driven environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal skills<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years\u2019 experience in Information Security<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 years of systems, network and\/or application security experience.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in CCNA, CISA, and CEH.<\/li>\n<li>Not more than 3 years post NYSC experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Demand on the Job:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Availability to work extra hours in times of emergency and specialized project deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and manage the pressure of a 24\u00d77 customer support environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve systems problems and issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/career.mainone.net\/vacancies\/view\/62\/ISO-TECH-0030\/information-security-officer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MainOne\u2019s success is built on having talented and highly proficient people within their respective fields as the driving force behind our business A job in MainOne is different from any&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[37],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
