We are looking for a backend developer to join our engineering team to help build out applications while also providing guidance for other developers in the team.<\/li>\n
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.<\/li>\n
You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by front-end developers with server-side logic.<\/li>\n
A deep understanding of React is required as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back-end development using NodeJS\/MongoDB<\/li>\n
Design and implementation of data storage solutions<\/li>\n
Scaling new\/existing backend systems and optimizing for speed, to handle ever-increasing amounts of traffic and new product requirements<\/li>\n
Hosting of applications on Unix (Ubuntu) based system(s).<\/li>\n
Building reusable code and libraries for future use<\/li>\n
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests<\/li>\n
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic<\/li>\n
Code review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

3+ years of experience developing scalable backend systems<\/li>\n
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes<\/li>\n
Experience building microservices<\/li>\n
Understanding fundamental design principles for building scalable applications<\/li>\n
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, preferably Git<\/li>\n
Understanding of \u201csession management\u201d in a distributed server environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Plus: \nAny of the following:<\/p>\n

Knowledge of any other Stack is a plus<\/li>\n
Experience building mobile apps with React Native<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
