Since its founding in 1977, Creative has earned a solid reputation among its clients and is well-regarded by competitors and partners alike.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Senior Educational Access\/Fragility Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Requisition Number:<\/strong> SENIO01422<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Northern Nigeria Education Initiative Plus project works to improve the quality of and access to education in Northern Nigeria, equitably and sustainably.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Senior Educational Access\/Fragility Specialist provides the overall technical expertise on the expansion of access-related activities, including risk reduction and safety, gender based violence, equitable education services, education and conflict analysis, non-formal education, well-being, psychosocial support and ensuring activities are conflict-sensitive and do no harm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitating access to quality education of 500,000 out of school children through Non-Formal setting education, community mobilization and capacity building of education authorities and other partners;<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing and addressing barriers to educational access and participation;<\/li>\n<li>Assessing issues of supply and demand for education options\/services;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and assessment of education needs in emergencies;<\/li>\n<li>Integrating a conflict-sensitive approach to education, preparation of activity designs;<\/li>\n<li>Adapting rapidly changing activity designs; implementing successful strategies to combat school-related gender based violence; and<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of risk reduction and psychosocial well-being activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting &amp; Supervision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The COP will report directly to the project director at headquarters and will supervise project staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the overall management and implementation of project activity;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise activity implementation and ensure the activity meets stated goals and reporting requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Actively engage key stakeholders; (ii) administration of the Competitiveness Fund to develop private sector partnerships and provide grants; and (iii) technical assistance (TA) that directly supports, coordinates, and organizes qualifying recipients (i.e., partners and grantees) to achieve USAID\u2019s trade and food security objectives.<\/li>\n<li>The Trade Hub will contribute to both USAID\/Nigeria\u2019s Feed the Future objectives related to increasing the agricultural competitiveness of smallholder farmers in Nigeria as well as USAID\/West Africa\u2019s objective to increase broad-based growth and resilience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting &amp;
