Our vision is to upgrade the world to a better financial system.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marketing &amp; Events Associate \u2013 West Africa<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for a dynamic, hands-on associate to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a huge opportunity for someone to join a growing team and help shape our strategy for the region, ensuring Luno is the most well known and trusted brand for cryptocurrencies in Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist customer support and verifications teams when required<\/li>\n<li>Optimise processes across the local business, ensuring we run efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Connect with, and develop relationships with top Luno customers<\/li>\n<li>Shape local marketing strategies that focus on localisation and leverage local insights<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of the market and drive market leadership &amp; success<\/li>\n<li>Identify marketing growth areas and experiments to improve product adoption in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Organise and run local Luno Meetups, Events and Roadshows in most parts of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Own and shape the local Luno strategy through industry &amp; competitor analysis<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute local marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll enjoy this if you have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Used various strategies to target different customer segments<\/li>\n<li>An entrepreneurial mind with a strong sense of responsibility and very high level of integrity<\/li>\n<li>Solid interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and driving projects to completion under deadlines<\/li>\n<li>A friendly, articulate, transparent disposition with a drive to succeed<\/li>\n<li>A relevant qualification from a recognised university, with 3-5 years work experience<\/li>\n<li>A basic knowledge of how cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum work (preferred), and enthusiasm to promote cryptocurrencies<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of increasing customer adoption and how to get them engaged in using a product<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefit<br \/>\n<\/strong>What else is in it for you?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, emerging and developed markets, and scaling a global business.
