CHAI\u2019s solution-oriented approach focuses on improving market dynamics for medicines and diagnostics; lowering prices for treatment; accelerating access to lifesaving technologies; and helping governments build the capacity required for high-quality care and treatment programs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Analyst, Information Systems<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Analyst will be responsible for backstopping all project activities.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will support the Technical Advisor and the Director in technical areas.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will undertake research, documentation, reporting, coordination and communication activities required for the project.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will report to the Advisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine operational objectives by studying the business functions, processes and procedures; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats of existing and emerging health information management systems<\/li>\n<li>Assist the development of detailed design and technical requirements for the HMIS, HRIS LMIS systems, with particular attention to interoperability with existing systems<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing training material and SOPs, plan and conduct trainings for end users<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing, monitoring and analyzing performance indicators to quantify impact<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing support to country teams during implementation of any technology solution<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing a long-term strategy and timeline for the scale-up of the system<\/li>\n<li>Explore and expand the scope of technology solutions to support other health system and service delivery areas as needed for CHAI<\/li>\n<li>Document findings from scoping and implementation activities to generate detailed report and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models<\/li>\n<li>Support proposal writing as well as developing donor reports<\/li>\n<li>Assist in supervising software development partners to develop, test and deploy the system<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing a detailed implementation plan for software release and deployment<\/li>\n<li>Assist in deploying system including procurement of hardware resources as needed<\/li>\n<li>Backstop other team activities as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant fields<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three years\u2019 experience in technical project support, testing, and deploying technology systems<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, database concepts, and system design and architecture<\/li>\n<li>Expert\/Advance SQL skills strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented, analytical and curious<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and with others<\/li>\n<li>Extensive technical writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience living or working in resource-limited countries<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills, particularly in systems and\/or information systems analysis<\/li>\n<li>Experience communicating technological concepts and processes to non-technical stakeholders with limited computing skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Software Product delivery<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts<\/li>\n<li>Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in information management systems, especially in public health<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Product Roadmaps<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in French and English with excellent written and oral proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Software Development lifecycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/careers-chai.icims.com\/jobs\/8855\/analyst%2c-information-systems\/job\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clinton Health Access Initiative \u2013 Founded in 2002, by President William J.
