Benin, Morocco, UAE, India, South Africa, China etc. with an over 9,000 multicultural workforce.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>System Administrator<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDuties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nExpected activities, Windows Server:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage server and client software updates<\/li>\n<li>Manage company Firewall and End-point service<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Active Directory Domain Services<\/li>\n<li>Manage User and Service Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Implement Group Policy Infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Manage User Desktops using Group Policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SQL Server:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform ongoing database maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Spare-head Disaster recovery plan \u201cDRP\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Configure SQL Server databases and storage<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement a backup strategy<\/li>\n<li>Monitor SQL Server, trace SQL Server activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exchange Server (Mail Admin):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform basic management of Exchange Server<\/li>\n<li>Implement backup and disaster recovery<\/li>\n<li>Ensure message hygiene and security<\/li>\n<li>Proactive manage PM to prevent spam ware and malicious attack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out routine and effective preventive maintenance on hardware systems.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor incident compliance within SLA and resolution of all escalated tickets<\/li>\n<li>Monthly statutory checklist and report generations for KPIs follow-up &amp; IT achievements<\/li>\n<li>Periodic review on IT Service Management and quality control checks<\/li>\n<li>End-User training on desktop\/laptop use including team capability building<\/li>\n<li>Test and evaluate new technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Experience &amp; Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent (BE\/B.Tech\/BSc. in Computer Science\/Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>DBA certification<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Certification<\/li>\n<li>ITIL foundation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies Required (Knowledge, Skills &amp; Attributes):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Domain admin<\/li>\n<li>Possess working knowledge status in Networking<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of client services devices including Laptop\/Desktop\/Printers\/Scanners\/Projectors etc<\/li>\n<li>8+ years demonstrated experience supporting an IT environment and progressive administrative experience<\/li>\n<li>Good Troubleshooting techniques and excellent communications and report writing skill<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server Operating System<\/li>\n<li>Leading edge in Database management and Networking<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of MS Office suites, MS Projects and Visio<\/li>\n<li>Innovative mindset<\/li>\n<li>Mail administrator with expertise in Endpoint and Sophos will be an
