PFL was established in 1997 and has come a long way in 17 years, retaining its excellence in study abroad and visa counselling We offer the widest range of services and commitments to our student customers seeking higher education to UK and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and the UAE.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Branch Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> General Manager<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates day to day operations of the branch by ensuring that staff and resources are optimally managed and targets are met, thus working with conversion officers to deliver the agreed conversion and sales target.<\/li>\n<li>To increase brand awareness thus focusing on Marketing and selling; so as to generate and develop new business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>To work closely with the CRM Officer so as to reduce errors on the CRM and assist in solving any problem the conversion officers may be experiencing with the CRM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The responsibilities of the Branch Manager in any case must be carried out by him\/her only. The primary job duties and responsibilities are detailed as under.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Governance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Company operational and HR regulations and processes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Company application procedures\/ student guidelines at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that partner institution visits are run appropriately and successfully and also Conduct visa seminars.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>log on to CRM everyday and monitor queues to ensure that branch records are in the \u201cUrgent\u201d and \u201cCritical\u201d queues are moved to the next queues, keeping both the student and the institution promptly informed as to progress<\/li>\n<li>Advise staff on operations procedures and undertake annual appraisals with all staff.<\/li>\n<li>Organize weekly branch meeting with all staff and also Strategize and successfully execute marketing activities at branch level<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all the equipment are in proper working condition so branch<\/li>\n<li>performance will not be affected.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure allocated revenue targets and visa targets for branch are achieved and ensure effective supervision and monitoring of Counselors; as such accountable for the overall performance of all member of staff in your branch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission of weekly\/monthly branch report to the General Manager<\/li>\n<li>To send regular report on school visit to General Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Collate monthly service charge\/registration records, prepare monthly requisition and send monthly petty expenditure report for the branch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Planning &amp; Conceptualizing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan &amp; conceptualize innovative ideas\/ways to increase PFL business<\/li>\n<li>Generate and follow up business leads, create partnerships with<\/li>\n<li>institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop sound annual\/quarterly marketing plan for the company\u2019s business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Market Analysis &amp; Benchmarking:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local mapping of target audience and developing the plan of action accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Identification and penetration of new market segments for attainment of targets with a view to optimize revenue and taking care of PR and branding activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Budgeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide input during budgeting on cost involvement with respect to business development, branding etc. and various below the line marketing\/ promotional initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sales:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presenting PFL to potential Schools and Universities through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.<\/li>\n<li>Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail to ensure all sales opportunities are captured and explored.<\/li>\n<li>Develop competitive sales strategies for deeper market penetration.<\/li>\n<li>Create opportunities for Student Counselors to register students brought in through business development activities.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for executing overall business marketing plan and lead generation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Relationship Building:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospecting, Identifying, &amp; generating new business and generating additional business from those institutions which provide students to PFL.<\/li>\n<li>To establish and develop relationships with NGOs and commercial organizations sponsoring students to study abroad.<\/li>\n<li>Implement effective network for consistent growth and better market penetration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coordination:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation;<\/li>\n<li>sales pitch; negotiation; close; handover to Counselors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or able to demonstrate the level of key skills required at a degree level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professional Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 6 years with at least 3 years\u2019 experience in the area of international education.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Marketing and also of financial management and processes.<\/li>\n<li>considerable experience of coordinating operations within an organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic finance management and budgeting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Good supervisory skills.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of marketing principles.<\/li>\n<li>Proven success in bringing business ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the Business Development process.<\/li>\n<li>Confident negotiator and ability to \u2018close the deal\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.<\/li>\n<li>A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good report writing and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of international higher education.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HR practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr.nigeria@preparationforlife.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr.nigeria@preparationforlife.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>31st January, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PFL (Preparation for Life) Pvt Lt is a part of PFL Group International, one of the leading UK owned and managed student placement agencies.
