Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Safety Operations Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> Req-1467<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide supports to field HSE team or any other entity during critical activities such as Full Field Shutdown, SIMOPS, drilling, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that incidents\/accidents are properly analysed, root causes properly identified and recommendations properly defined<\/li>\n<li>Assist in follow up and\/or tracking of incidents recommendations\/actions in Synergi<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and deployment of Safety Operations\u2019 training and awareness materials across the district<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of Safety Operations Annual Budget<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper reporting of Safety Operations activities as specified by the management<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the CFT HSE evaluation of DWD Contracts<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with HSE Reporting engineers and team member to share relevant information on reporting Focal point for DWD HSE<\/li>\n<li>Planning and updating of primavera as part of integrated DWD planning. Identify procedural gaps to develop and improve procedural controls<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with Sites and Entities on the implementation of procedures, Rex, SFN and Alerts recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct, Lead or participate in Safety Operations\u2019 and Contractors\u2019 HSE MS audits. Ensure that the results of the audits are clearly documented and audits recommendations are follow up to closure<\/li>\n<li>Participate in high level Service Risk Assessments and follow up\/audit the implementation of mitigated measures specified<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other duties\/projects that may be assigned to him by the Hierarchy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc\/B.Eng\/HND in Engineering<\/li>\n<li>5 \u2013 10 years E&amp;P industry experience, of which 5 years should be in operations (Production, Drilling,\u00a0Techlog, Field HSE or Projects)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a transversal team, cross-functional and analytical acuity<\/li>\n<li>Good technical writing skills\u2013 reports and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamism and multitasking<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills-Proficient in Database Management under Excel, Access etc, Sound knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint etc.), Knowledge of other office tools and software Good knowledge on the use of Synergi tool.<\/li>\n<li>Good team player and sometimes could assume team leadership in audit, incident investigation or risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of primavera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Primary Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety Operations, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.cbizsoft.com\/ucbizjobs\/%28X%281%29S%283k0xihu5kxkja5qqfke0flhm%29%29\/jobview.aspx?jobid=Req-1467&amp;cid=cbizl_okor&amp;consintid=&amp;consid=&amp;contactid=&amp;source=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry.
