The first CasaBella store opened in Lagos in 2010 and today, CasaBella Beauty is the fastest-growing retailer of beauty supplies in West Africa.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Head, Projects<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> 1<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administration, Advisory, Architectural, Business Development, Construction, Facilities &amp; Property Manager, Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>Industries: Architectural &amp; Interior Design,Building, Construction, Facilities &amp; Property Management,\u00a0FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods Sector), Hotel \/ Catering \/ Hospitality \/ Leisure, Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical \/ Medical \/ Healthcare \/ Hygiene, Property Development, Real Estate, Rental \/ Lease, Retail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle property related issues and manage relationships with all Landlords\/Estate Managers<\/li>\n<li>End-to-end management (plan, implement, manage, evaluate and review) of branch development projects such as expansion, relocation and renovation within stipulated deadlines and cost<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with and coordinate all relevant departments towards branch opening activities through the hand holding period till hand over to store management<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and partner with Facilities and Admin Services department to ensure that all physical facilities including electrical, carpentry, civil works and plumbing systems are functioning optimally<\/li>\n<li>Work with Facilities and Admin Services department to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations<\/li>\n<li>Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant government bodies to facilitate prompt processing of property related issues such as permits, certificates, fees, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure only registered and accredited vendors in their areas of expertise are sourced and contracted for all supplies and services<\/li>\n<li>Source for vendors\/service providers for all supplies and services<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a comprehensive database of vendors to enable swift sourcing of service providers data<\/li>\n<li>Make sure of the smooth progress of all operations until the branch opening<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate between all functional teams involved in the branch opening<\/li>\n<li>Track the quality of deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Identify and mitigate issues and risks in each phase of the project<\/li>\n<li>Timely follow-up with the management team on all issues related to new branch development<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal parties on timelines and issues requiring cross departmental involvement in order to ensure proper communication and timely delivery of works completed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high quality of project documentation<\/li>\n<li>Provide periodic and detailed status reports to the Management team<\/li>\n<li>Key elements of the role<\/li>\n<li>Report to the CEO<\/li>\n<li>Develop and direct strategies with the Management team for the Projects department and ensure strategies are aligned with the vision of HealthPlus Group<\/li>\n<li>Develop process, procedures and systems for the department in order to deliver the department\u2019s strategy. The department comprises of Property Acquisition, Leasing &amp; Value Assurance and Design &amp; Projects<\/li>\n<li>Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage business opportunities for branch expansion that will contribute to the organisation\u2019s short and long term business goals<\/li>\n<li>Identify new opportunities for retail locations and business development<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and negotiate with in conjunction with management retail property developers,landlords and land owners to identify viable retail spaces and opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nDesired Skills &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field with 10 years<\/li>\n<li>Minimum experience in a structured organisation, 5 years of which must be in a managerial capacity<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the Roll out of retail chain of stores, is highly required<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a recognised professional body i.e. Project Management Institute is required<\/li>\n<li>Leadership &amp; managerial skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, flexible, endurance and has a great willingness to travel<\/li>\n<li>A good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite like Word, Outlook, and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation and persuasion skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and people skills<\/li>\n<li>Planning &amp; organisational Skill<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving and decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>High standard of attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nMarket Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Job\/Index\/25898\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>31st January, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HealthPlus Limited \u2013 Our sister company, CasaBella Beauty, is a one-stop store for beauty and grooming solutions for men and women.
