{"id":70654,"date":"2019-01-30T11:10:18","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T10:10:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=70654"},"modified":"2019-01-29T15:32:31","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T14:32:31","slug":"workplace-centre-limited-recent-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/workplace-centre-limited-recent-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"The Workplace Centre Limited Recent Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Workplace Centre Limited \u2013 We are a World Class Skills Development and HR \/ ICT Consulting Services organisation that adds significant value to our clients and society.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Business Development Officer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the implementation of the day to day micro-finance operations, performance of loan portfolio, provision of guidance and capacity to build Business Development officers in the field to ensure growth in CHASE\u2019s portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Customers of this Position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Micro-finance clients, local administration\/Government agencies and internal staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nBusiness Development and Growth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disbursements<\/li>\n<li>No of clients<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding no. of loans<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding loan book<\/li>\n<li>Deposits-cash collateral<\/li>\n<li>Client Retention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Controls and Process Adherence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asset Quality<\/li>\n<li>Documentation &amp; filling<\/li>\n<li>Process adherence<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Audit &amp; compliance rating \u2013internal or external<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Customer Service:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TAT-feedback on outcome esp negative<\/li>\n<li>Loan processing<\/li>\n<li>Complaints\/compliments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People Process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance management<\/li>\n<li>Leave<\/li>\n<li>Training<\/li>\n<li>D &amp; G<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 4 years experience in a micro-finance institution, bank or development institution, 3 of which should be in a supervisory capacity<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies required for this role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Wide exposure in the credit field<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated report and proposal writing experience; and<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of and sensitivity to local culture and political settings as may affect the micro-finance market.<\/li>\n<li>Good oral and written communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Customer service orientation and commercial awareness; and<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Ms Office \u2013 Bank-one user skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to facilitate and maintain positive relationships with staff, local government, donors and other agencies<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of accounting and financial management issues affecting the micro finance sector<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams to achieve goals through teamwork;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their Resume to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@workplacecentre.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@workplacecentre.com<\/strong><\/a>Using the subject \u201cSenior Business Development Officer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>8th February, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Workplace Centre Limited \u2013 We are a World Class Skills Development and HR \/ ICT Consulting Services organisation that adds significant value to our clients and society.
