positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Field Operator \u2013 Wireline<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Number:<\/strong> 1903677<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BHGE has an opportunity for a Field Operator to join its Wireline Services operations in Nigeria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under general supervision receives established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity to perform basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.<\/li>\n<li>Learns about servicing mechanical devices, building logging cable heads, building perforating cable heads and tool maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Able to Rig up and down wellsite equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Develops hoisting skills in different situations such as fishing operations, coring operations, testing operations vertical tool make-up and in deviated wells.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes and maintains good customer relations.<\/li>\n<li>Drives Company vehicles in a safe manner, observing all Company and government regulations and arrives at wellsite or other designated destination at scheduled time.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, Equipment and Logistics manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values<\/li>\n<li>Maintains wellsite records and communications as required by District Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for proper job-related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew.<\/li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of and ensure compliance with all Federal, Country, State, Local and Wireline regulations applicable to Wireline explosives operations.<\/li>\n<li>Participates Harcourt, Rivers<strong><br \/>\nEssential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under broad direction, receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on wellsite activities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform assembly, checking and loading necessary equipment required for one or more of the following: Tubing Conveying Perforating (TCP), Cased Hole (CH) Wireline, Open Hole (OH) Wireline or Downhole Seismic Services, (DSS).<\/li>\n<li>Work with drill crew on location to assemble and run the TCP, CH\/OH Wireline or DSS equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Safety leadership throughout all areas of the job.<\/li>\n<li>Perform Risk Assessments and ensure measures are taken to minimize risk.<\/li>\n<li>Provides record of such equipment and other routine assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.<\/li>\n<li>Advise the Customer Representative in routine spotting and actuating such equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Drives Company vehicles in a safe manner, observing warehouse operation in a manner that provides maximum efficiency and profitability for BHGE \u2013 i.e. trouble-free equipment to customers and a safe working environment for employees.<\/li>\n<li>May serve as driver to haul equipment or chemicals to customer site.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises small operation typically with employees who receive, store, distribute and\/or repair equipment or raw
