With joining MainOne you\u2019ll be challenged, inspired and proud as you become a part of something big.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Operations Officer<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Finance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all reconciling items are promptly treated, and all revenue and expenses are captured within the reporting period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other job functions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in preparing and maintaining of daily worksheets and recording of accounting entries in the general ledger system.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring the integrity of the general ledger postings.<\/li>\n<li>Assist to liaise with the bank for all Company transactions, as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Inventory management.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of Monthly Last Mile Costs Schedule and ensure proper reconciliation against invoices and payments.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm authorizations for all requests and obtain necessary supporting documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain regular contact with other staff, departments and remote offices on procurement and other finance matters, as well as to obtain and convey information and\/or to correct transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Research, track, and resolve (or properly refer) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and update Supervisor of significant problems, discrepancies, risks etc<\/li>\n<li>Prepare supporting documents, reports, records etc. for financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies and procedures, legal\/statutory and company regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring all reconciling items are promptly treated to ensure all revenue and expenses are captured within the reporting period.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Fixed Asset management.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring all cash advances to staff are been retired.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Maintaining schedule of cash advances to staff.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring proper file management, easy treating of vouchers to GL as well as maintaining well reconciled vendor statement and file.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties consistent with the role as assigned from time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Finance\/Accounting<\/li>\n<li>ICAN\/ACCA Required.<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Basic Book keeping procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Basic typing and data entry skills.<\/li>\n<li>Efficient use of accounting templates.<\/li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office Applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demand on the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to deal with problems involving a few variables.<\/li>\n<li>Able to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percent.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of any accounting application.<\/li>\n<li>Well organized.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperative and willing to assist others.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little or no supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/career.mainone.net\/vacancies\/view\/66\/FA-FIN-0008\/finance-operations-officer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MainOne\u2019s success is built on having talented and highly proficient people within their respective fields as the driving force behind our business A job in MainOne is different from any&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[28],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
