We operate a structured yet fun and easy-going work environment and also a management trainee and in-house entrepreneurial mentorship program.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Retail Store Assistant<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos (Preference for a candidate living around Anthony\/Maryland, Gbagada area)<br \/>\n<strong>Role:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking a dynamic, energetic retail assistant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will play a key role in providing stellar customer service experiences on a daily basis. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable our products with an engaging, upbeat personality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet customers and make them feel welcome<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable office and its environs<\/li>\n<li>Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Arrange merchandise (proper sizing, colour choices, collecting items from back inventory if needed, etc.) in the stock tray in good order.<\/li>\n<li>Restock items that are running low and maintain proper display appearances<\/li>\n<li>Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays<\/li>\n<li>Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly; find a reasonable solution (calling on a supervisor only when necessary)<\/li>\n<li>Keep a watchful eye for theft or mishandling of merchandise; act according to company policy<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customers are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policy<\/li>\n<li>Process payment by using cash register, credit card machines, and\/or POS (point of sale) computer system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thrives working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit, able to work long hours on one\u2019s feet<\/li>\n<li>Available to work late daily and on weekends<\/li>\n<li>Must be a fast learner and able to think quickly on one\u2019s feet<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>High SSCE or OND equivalent preferred<\/li>\n<li>Previous retail and\/or sales experience a major plus<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate and comfortable using POS systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@supermartng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@supermartng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using \u201cRetail Store Assistant\u201d as the subject of your email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a018th February, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supermart.ng, Nigeria\u2019s leading online supermarket.
