Currently, we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>A B Seaman<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> Req-1477<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for carrying out, in a safe and diligent manner, any task or routine which he is directed to do by the Bosun or Chief Officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation and painting of the vessel as required.<\/li>\n<li>Have understanding and comply with all relevant sections of the companies\u2019 policies and management system.<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with his emergency duties and he must be aware of, and abide by Company procedures, policies and instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Lash and secure cargo and equipment on the weather decks or other cargo spaces, and the stores\/spares in storerooms, in his area of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out maintenance of deck machinery and equipment and assist in carrying out planned maintenance routines.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment in the field of his responsibility and maintain the cleanliness of his work area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shall be part of the mooring stations party either forward or aft, assisting with the safe rigging of gangways and pilot ladders as required.<\/li>\n<li>Preference would be given to those who can work both legally in Nigeria &amp; UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Training Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As per Marine Master Training Matrix (HHR-MA-0013).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Primary Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marine Operations, Engineering Degree, Technical\/Vocational, Oil &amp; Gas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Officer, Safety<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> Req-1478<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The day Chief Officer shall act as the Safety Officer onboard ensuring that the provisions of the Code of Safe Working Practices for Merchant Seamen, Statutory Requirements and Company Health and Safety Policy are complied with.<\/li>\n<li>The Safety Officer shall investigate all lost time injuries, dangerous occurrences and complaints regarding Health and Safety matters and make recommendations to the OIM\/Master.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as Senior DP Operator, Watchkeeper, when on shift and normal Watchkeeper when on conventional watches either in port, on passage or at anchor.<\/li>\n<li>Shall have understanding and comply with all relevant sections of the company\u2019s policies and management system.<\/li>\n<li>Assists OIM\/Master in fire fighting and emergency procedures controls on Bridge in the event of fire or other emergency situation.<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with all other Deck Officers on general ship running and routines.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all cargo is secured at all times and organises cargo transfers after liaison with the Storekeeper.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all navigational equipment is functioning correctly.
