It seeks to stimulate voluntary commitment from doctors, other health care providers, and from those whose expertise in other fields is needed for its activities, to enlist all competent support required for the achievement of its projects, and to seek at all times to encourage close working relationships with populations in its care.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Health Services Quality Coordinator (M\/F)<br \/>\nLocations:<\/strong>\u00a0Maiduguri, Borno with regular field visits<br \/>\n<strong>Fixed-term contract:<\/strong> 9 months<br \/>\n<strong>Starting Date:<\/strong> March 2019<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nTasks And Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the responsibility of the medical coordinator, you are in charge of the quality of services and activities. You guarantee that the medical activities implemented in the project are in line with MdM\u2019s strategy, policies and principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>More specifically, your responsibilities are to:<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amplify the advocacy and communities in health decision making\u2014all with the intention to increase the resiliency of health sector overall<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the switch of operational strategy<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in ensuring effectiveness of implementation for MdM\u2019s emergency activities within the framework of pertinent national policy, strategy and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the quality parameters for the protection and health care activities<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the quality of the outreach activities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the implementation and supervision of the formal trainings as per the context needs<\/li>\n<li>Organize the weekly activities schedule of technical advisors in collaboration with health coordinator, pharmacy coordinator and emergency response coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the adherence of the treating team to the MdM procedures for management of pharmaceuticals, appropriate treatment according to the protocols<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality of the program implementation and the institutional capacity building programs to strengthen accountability, transparency and participation.<\/li>\n<li>In coordination with other health actors and under the lead of MoH, work on updating national medical protocols and guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Staff Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support technical advisors in the declination of activities linked with their expertise area<\/li>\n<li>Work in close collaboration with MdM technical advisors to implement trainings<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the close collaboration with health coordinator, pharmacy coordinator, emergency response coordinator and M&amp;E supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Supervise technical advisors by regular supervisions on the field<\/li>\n<li>Carry out appraisals as per MdM standard requirements and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Support and take part, if necessary, to the nationalization of positions belonging to the medical department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monitoring and Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure quality of data collection, reporting and communication<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality of mission reports or any other relevant reports<\/li>\n<li>Ensure statistical followup of data in the monitool and other tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meetings, coordination and representation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend to external meetings as requested<\/li>\n<li>Identify medical structures of reference for the implementation of proper staff care policy, by delegation of general coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Languages: English is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and supportive management skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Good writing and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pro-actively build relations with other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to work and live in challenging conditions<\/li>\n<li>Medical profile, with good knowledge of program coordination<\/li>\n<li>Public health master\u2019s degree will be an asset<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, including health program coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Experience with an international NGO working in emergency contexts<\/li>\n<li>Experience\/knowledge of the region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Conditions Of Employment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gross monthly salary: 2,763 euros<\/li>\n<li>Guesthouse housing<\/li>\n<li>22.5 RTT (recovery days) per year<\/li>\n<li>5 weeks of paid leaves per year<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance (60% covered by MdM)<\/li>\n<li>Insurance (repatriation\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Premium equal to one month salary paid in two instalments \u2013 minimum of 6 months seniority required<\/li>\n<li>Expatriation bonus (10% gross salary per month)<\/li>\n<li>Transportation cost (home-work), vaccines and visas covered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medecinsdumonde.org\/fr\/recrutement\/offres\/2019\/02\/06\/health-services-quality-coordinator-mf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>6th June, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>M\u00e9decins du Monde (MdM) is an international humanitarian organization whose mission is to provide medical care for the most vulnerable populations, the world over, including France.
