Marketsquare was conceived from a burning sensation to create a modern and relevant retail shopping experience for Nigerians and a more convenient way for people to get their everyday needs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Retail Management Trainee<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Imo<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our Retail Management Trainee Program is a one-year structured on-the-job training program with well-defined training curriculum highlighting on our core competency and values. It is designed to develop our future leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for candidates who have the potentials and interest to build a budding career in the retail industry. Ideal candidates should have:<\/li>\n<li>Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any field preferably in Management related courses.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be able to demonstrate a good level of education to justify grade (Minimum of Second class upper)<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of completion of compulsory NYSC or exemption<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable leadership and supervisory experience<\/li>\n<li>Good People skills<\/li>\n<li>Business Acumen and ability to a take a strategic perspective<\/li>\n<li>Experience in retail sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred Candidate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Should have strong analytical and numerical skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate (Able to use Microsoft office suite)<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable confidence, assertiveness and self-motivation<\/li>\n<li>The interest to do shift work over weekends and public holidays<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and work in various cities across the country and Not more than 28 years old by 31 December 2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should submit their Applications and CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@sundrymarkets.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@sundrymarkets.ng<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Experience Retail Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Imo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directs store operations including retail operations, customer service, human resources, property management, security management and control, administration and sales<\/li>\n<li>Assess local Markets conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial objectives and business plans. Meet goals and metrics<\/li>\n<li>Bring out the best of branch\u2019s personnel through training, coaching, development and motivation. Ensure adherence to set standards, Procedure and policies<\/li>\n<li>Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly<\/li>\n<li>Implement an effective loss prevention strategy so as to contain losses by keeping inventory shrink.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Resident Internal Auditor<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Imo<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous risk assessment to determine areas of risk and developing work plans to mitigate such risks<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring the flow of inventory<\/li>\n<li>Determine compliance to policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Verifying goods receipts and vouching vendor invoices<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating loss prevention strategies and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Advising management of risk areas and solutions and working with management to implement these solutions<\/li>\n<li>Communicate findings to management and report on audit activities<\/li>\n<li>Agreeing recommendations with relevant staff members to make improvements to operations and helping to secure backing for them in meetings<\/li>\n<li>Working with the accounting function in the external audit process<\/li>\n<li>Generally assisting with stock counts, and inventory valuation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Accounting or any relevant field with Second class Upper degree.
