The Bank has international presence through its subsidiaries, FBN Bank (UK) Limited in London and Paris, FBNBank DRC, FBNBank Ghana, FBNBank Gambia, FBNBank Guinea, FBNBank Sierra-Leone and FBNBank Senegal, as well as its Representative Offices in Johannesburg, Beijing and Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head, Corporate Control<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> 19000005<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Organization:<\/strong> Chief Financial Officer Directorate<br \/>\n<strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Regular<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in the development of internal control framework for the bank\u2019s corporate office functions; including Risk Management; Strategic Resource Functions, Treasury, Shared Services, First Shared Services and others as defined<\/li>\n<li>Planning, execution, monitoring and reporting control activities for the bank\u2019s corporate office functions<\/li>\n<li>Identification of operational lapses in the corporate office functions and tracking closure by risk owners<\/li>\n<li>Prevention and\/or detection of operational\/fraud losses through systematic risk control reviews of corporate office functions<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for the integrity of financial records in the bank\u2019s corporate office functions and drive initiatives for bank wide reconciliation issues having control oversight for Financial Control<\/li>\n<li>Review of new products, processes and procedures of corporate office functions (non-IT\/digital) for full control adequacy prior to implementation<\/li>\n<li>Implementing sound independent control policies and standards covering all sources of risks (financial and non-financial).<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring policy and process compliance by corporate office functions<\/li>\n<li>Providing control counseling, advisory and decision support services including performance management to business units and strategic resource functions.<\/li>\n<li>Creating and maintaining a best in class internal control system and culture over the corporate control functions in the bank.<\/li>\n<li>Training, coaching, mentoring, managing and supervising Corporate Control Team Leads in Head Office for effective performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Education: BSC\/HND in any relevant discipline (Accounting, Economics and any other related field); ICAN\/ACCA<\/li>\n<li>Master degree and other certifications in related field will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum experience \u2013 Twelve (12) years relevant working experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/firstbanknigeria.taleo.net\/careersection\/jobdetail.ftl?job=19000005\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank) is Nigeria\u2019s largest financial services institution by total assets and gross earnings.
