They have a real pioneering spirit we must keep cultivating!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Production Operator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Offer ID:<\/strong> 16706BR<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Port Harcourt \u2013 Trans Amadi<br \/>\n<strong>Interview Location:<\/strong> Lagos and Port Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong>M\u00e9tier:<\/strong> Upstream Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Workplace location (Precisions\/Keywords):<\/strong> TEP Nigeria production sites<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Regular position<br \/>\n<strong>Branch:<\/strong> Exploration and Production<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nActivities linked to Work Permit site validation \/ opening:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take part in the Toolbox Talks and ensure hazard compensatory measures are in place,<\/li>\n<li>Perform regular checks, audits of the working locations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities linked to Work Preparation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and perform isolation, flushing, inerting of equipment as requested,<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe equipment handover to third parties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities linked to Daily Routine:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Record local functional parameters (e.g. meter, levels, recorders)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper handover between line management, colleagues, shift and one\u2019s back to back<\/li>\n<li>Report any abnormal observation \/ variation in timely manner, including vibrations, leaks, blockages, plant integrity infringement, \u2026<\/li>\n<li>Carry out the daily routine activities (visual checks, leak checks, set up \/ reset up, change over, \u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the periodic inspections and tests on Safety Equipment (Fire Water Pump, Deluge System, Emergency valves, \u2026) and fill out the relevant log sheets,<\/li>\n<li>Carry out first level maintenance (e.g. valve greasing, pump tests, instrument checks, purging, draining, filter changeover \/ replacement, easy fix, \u2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to SIMOPS, Commissioning and Start-up activities as required,<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other duties as necessary within one\u2019s capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Perform samplings for laboratory analysis,<\/li>\n<li>Perform pigging operations, well testing, equipment changeover, \u2026, as required,<\/li>\n<li>Startup \/ shutdown the plant and \/ or equipment and \/ or facilities as required,<\/li>\n<li>Perform the first level of diagnostics \/ trouble shootings and contribute to further in depth analyses,<\/li>\n<li>Maximize asset throughputs under CCR and \/ or Line Management instructions,<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Cause Tree Analysis, Risk Assessments, Permit to Work preparation, Operating Procedures, \u2026, as required,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context and Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selected candidates with limited relevant experience will be placed on training contracts until successful completion of training programme.<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma (ND) qualification obtained must not be earlier than 2013<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>0-5 years experience in Oil Field Operations<\/li>\n<li>Operator Certificate (French BOA, Ogere Certificate or OPITO equivalent) or Opercap assessment above 100 could be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<li>Team player, stable, thoughtful, responsible, good communication skill, intransigent in HSE with a clear potential to learn,<\/li>\n<li>Medically fit on Site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Information\/Notice<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates with higher qualifications need not apply.<\/li>\n<li>Successful applicants with limited relevant experience will initially be placed on a training contract and considered for employment in TEPNG upon successful completion of the training programme, while successful applicants with 3-5 years relevant experience will begin a career immediately with on-the-job training programme.<\/li>\n<li>All application forms must be completed online.
