The centre is designed to provide Special Education Needs intervention services.<br \/>\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Nursery and Early Years Special Needs Teacher<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate should be passionate about developing exciting and relevant special education and inclusive learning experiences for children both indoors and outdoors using the provided scheme of work.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Able to maintain open communication between parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of educational developments.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare to plan and develop IFSP (Individual Family Support Programs) that would cater for the educational needs of children in early years learning.<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate and updated on-going records and prepare reports.<\/li>\n<li>The position is charged with the responsibility of maintaining a detailed record of each child\u2019s progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The preferred candidate must have a minimum of a B.Sc \/ B.Ed in Psychology, Special Education or any related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess at least 4 years EYFS Teaching experience.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work outside regular office hours including weekends, holidays or any other days as required.<\/li>\n<li>Be enthusiastic, patient and passionate about teaching and be able to demonstrate a genuine care for young children especially those with special needs.<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer proficient.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate should also be committed to working in close partnership with parents and educators and must possess strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Sign Language is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:admin@cacademy.sch.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>admin@cacademy.sch.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>8th March, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dewdrops Community Centre for Special Needs and Vulnerable Women\u00ae is a registered non-profit NGO that caters for a targeted population of low income earning families through donations by individuals&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[21],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
